Get Started with Doodle Labs

Find a project that speaks to you and discover the magic of generative minting! Each NFT is created by an algorithm at the time of purchase-- while you’ll generally know the style of the project you’re buying, a unique iteration is created just for you at the time of minting. We refer to this as “1-of-1-of-X”, meaning you’ll own a one-of-a-kind work of art within the collection.

How To Mint

1. Choose your project

Visit the project page of the collection you’d like to mint from! Note that each project has a set maximum supply; once the total supply is reached, the project is fully minted, or "sold out", and any further purchases must be done on the secondary market.

2. Connect your MetaMask wallet

If you do not already have MetaMask installed you'll need to visit to install the extension in your browser. You can learn more, including how to set up your wallet and properly store your private keys, by visiting MetaMask FAQs. Once you're connected to MetaMask on the project page, you’ll have the ability to purchase any available editions.

3. Purchase & confirm transaction

After clicking the purchase button, a Metamask window will pop up asking you to confirm the transaction. Similar to a shopping cart, the price for minting the artwork, as well as the gas cost for executing the transaction, will be displayed for you to review. Click "Confirm" to approve the transaction, which will start the confirmation process on the blockchain. The purchase can take some time depending on the network traffic. Please be patient and do NOT press the back button.

A note on gas fees: The Ethereum network uses gas fees to incentivize users to validate transactions. Gas fees can fluctuate based on network traffic. Please only approve transactions with gas fees that you are comfortable with paying.

4. View your new piece of art

Once the transaction is confirmed your NFT will populate in the window. This is a one-of-a-kind iteration generated by the project's algorithm. Your work is now represented on the Ethereum network via a standard ERC-721 NFT token. You will also instantly be able to view your NFT on OpenSea. (Note: If the Ethereum blockchain is backlogged and your token takes too long to mint, you might not be presented with the token image automatically upon minting it. Delays happen!)
